About Northshore
Built by hands
that know the work.
Northshore Mechanical & Construction is run out of Muskegon by Connor — a licensed Michigan builder who came up through the union skilled trades, with a 30-year tradesman advising every call. Young hands, seasoned judgment, and everything on the page checkable.
Tell us about your projectWe're here to raise the standard of residential work on the lakeshore, and leave the community we grew up in a little better than we found it.

Young hands. Seasoned judgment.
The builder
Connor G.
- Journeyman in two union trades
- EPRI Rigging certification
- 7 years in the skilled trades
Connor answers the phone, walks the job, writes the scope, and stands behind the result. No sales layer between you and the license holder.
The advisor · HVAC
Daniel (Danny) G.
- HVAC — furnaces & A/C since 1996
- Decades leading union crews
- Read a hundred job sites cold
- The judgment that ages well
Fifty years old and half a lifetime on the tools — the kind of experience you can't shortcut. When a job needs a call made before a shovel moves, Danny's the one who's seen it before.

We grew up here.
We're building it better.

Before you call
The questions we get first.
Are you licensed and legitimate?+
Yes — licensed, insured, and checkable. Northshore holds Michigan Residential Builder License #262600528 (the LLC's license), Connor R. Garza is its Qualifying Officer #242501434, and general liability coverage is active. Mechanical scope is delivered by licensed trade contractors Northshore subcontracts — each pulls its permit under its own license. Every number on this page is real and verifiable.
Do you work in my town?+
We work the lakeshore out of Muskegon — Muskegon, Norton Shores, Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Fruitport, Whitehall, Nunica, North Muskegon, Roosevelt Park, Ferrysburg, Montague, Twin Lake, and Wolf Lake. If you're near there and not sure, ask; we'll tell you straight.
How does pricing work?+
Scope before price, always. We walk the job, write the scope, and give you a specific written proposal — no instant lowball numbers on work we haven't seen, and no surprise math at the end.
Who actually shows up to the job?+
The people on this page. Connor runs and works the job; Danny advises on the calls that experience makes easier. You're not handed off to a stranger after you sign.
